Secondhand Shop Hopping in Nyack, NY

A village of Nyack in Upstate NY is home to over half a dozen individually owned vintage shops. Together they arrange Secondhand Shop Hop events each fall and spring.

Nyack has always been characterized by its celebration of vintage. In the 70s, 80s and early 90s, the village was renowned for its antique furniture and collectible stores, most of which are no longer active. In more recent years, Nyack has shifted towards embracing vintage and secondhand fashion.

Each vintage store has its own style, and store owners build community and collaborate with one another by hosting events like the Secondhand Shop Hop. The secondhand stores are all located on one of the village’s two main arteries, in close walking proximity to each other. Each store has postcard maps on hand for shoppers to find the other vintage stores in town.

There are two Secondhand Shop Hop events each spring and two each fall. The self-guided shopping tour gives shoppers in Nyack the opportunity to enjoy special discounts at each vintage store, raffle prizes, promotions from local restaurants, and an opportunity for shoppers to donate items for recycling. Shoppers can pick up punch cards at any one of the second hand stores in town, as well as a list of participating restaurants and their locations.

Check out all the participating vintage stores and take part in the next events!

Honor & Blume

Honor and Blume is a curated collection of vintage jewelry and fashion, from owner Hilarie Blumenthal. With a background in jewelry design and costume design, Hilarie opened her shop almost 5 years ago. Hilarie specializes in handcrafting fine jewelry, influenced by and often incorporating, vintage elements such as delicate gold and silver charms made from impressions of antique wax-seals, to restrung necklaces using vintage Murano glass beads. In addition to the pieces she makes, Hilarie also offers an eclectic mix of vintage jewelry and one-of-a-kind collectible pieces.

Drawing from her background as a costume designer, Hilarie brings a love of vintage fashion to Honor and Blume by featuring amazing pieces by designers from all different eras, ranging from Victorian times to early 2000s fashion. While specializing in high end designer pieces, Honor and Blume also offers fun vintage fashion at more accessible price points, ensuring that there is something for everyone.

Trilogy Consignment

Trilogy Consignment opened 10 years ago in Tarrytown, serving the community as a reseller for stylish vintage and modern clothing, shoes, and accessories. The body-positive, inclusive atmosphere has contributed to the store’s success over the last decade. The founders opened a second location in Nyack in 2022, and began sharing space with Lemmonade in May 2024. Having two shops under one roof means more variety and value for customers. At Trilogy, items are priced fairly, with the vast majority of pieces under $100, with most $48 or less. Lemmonade

Lemmonade specializes in modern, classic secondhand women’s clothing and accessories. Lemmonade was born in 2023 after Laura Graham, who spent seven years in a shared shop that also sold housewares and fine jewelry, made the decision to focus solely on her passion for the finest pre-loved and resale clothing. While a small amount of new-with-tags wholesale and a sprinkle of vintage also grace the racks and shelves, Lemmonade focuses on current, more modern and classic styles for elevated everyday wear. In May of 2024, Lemmonade joined up with Trilogy Nyack, and the two shops now share a location.
