Denver Vintage Shopping Guide
Denver might be best known for its location near the mountain range and its plentiful outdoor activities, but it also has a bustling vintage scene.
Welcome to Denver, Colorado! This fast-growing city is the state capital and home to amazing number of quality vintage stores.
Our guide divides the stores into three sections: stores lined along Broadway, the ones in Capitol and Congress Park areas, and to the stores located in or close to Five Points. Check out our Google Maps list for more tips!

Goldmine Vintage
Goldmine Vintage has been selling vintage clothing in Colorado since 2007. They carry a wide array of vintage clothing, accessories, LP’s and other gems dating from the Victorian era through the 90s. Goldmine is Denver’s largest vintage clothing store with 4,000 square feet of hand picked vintage. Owners, Joan Jones and Tom Bottenberg travel the U.S. sourcing their goods.
“We love the idea of keeping these unique pieces in circulation and our hope is to inspire folks to shop slow and small. We love vintage clothing and the positive impact it has on the environment.”

The Ten Penny Store
Ten Penny Store carries clothing and accessories from the 90s and older, including t-shirts, denim, dresses, hats & more. They also have a selection of vintage and antique housewares and collectibles, and a curated vinyl and cassette tape collection to sift through.
“We tend to lean into providing everyday wearable vintage pieces while also having an array of eye-catching statement garments. It is also important to us to provide a wide range of affordable vintage. You can shop plenty under $20 or treat yourself to something more rare”, owners Matt and Kelley say. They met at a local vintage shop in 2015 and opened The Ten Penny Store in 2017.

Boss Vintage
Boss Vintage’s inventory is massive: everything from the Edwardian to the 90s era – from vintage band tee shirts to cowboy boots and Gunne Sax dresses.
Denver’s oldest vintage clothing store has operated over 35 years which explains the big inventory. Boss Vintage has even been featured in People Magazine for having the oldest pair of Levis to be found (at that time), and have clothed many of Hollywood’s box office hits such as Forest Gump, Titanic, Larimer Project and Down with Love to name a few.
Boss was opened by Ron and Cynthia Wright after Cynthia aka Cid had collected SO much vintage clothing and denim as pickers for other shops in the industry. They quickly became a hot spot for Japanese buyers and made a name for themselves nationwide after finding the famous 1927 Levis buckleback 501’s which sold for $$$.

Big Sky Supply
Big Sky Supply specializes in 50s-90s vintage, with a focus on vintage jeans & t-shirts, streetwear, pop culture items as well as some hand-sewn one of a kind items. This store is heavily curated and regardless of decade, the inventory fits an aesthetic. Big Sky Supply started its business in 2016 and opened the store front in February of 2018. The store’s location and setup are pretty unique, too: the 500 square foot vintage shop is built out of a container on the back patio of Crema coffeehouse.

Heart of Vintage
Heart of Vintage sells high quality pieces that date from Y2K and older, though a lot of the inventory is 90s-Y2K focused. There are mini skirts, dresses from all eras, lots of leather and denim, mini and boho bags, sexy boots and heels, and lots of jewelry and accessories such as silk head scarves, chunky rings, and both timeless and funky necklaces and earrings.
“We don’t shy away from color and pattern, and we love to encourage people to step out of their comfort zone. It’s really common that someone will love a piece, but not necessarily know how to style it. We love styling people in store, and people usually leave with a full outfit instead of just one piece”, says the founder Isabella Conte.
Along with the women’s/femme collection, there are also masculine offerings. Vintage menswear brand Macabre Decorum operates alongside Heart of Vintage and curates sharp and sleek pieces that are suitable for any occasion. Brands range from the likes of Carhartt, Dickies, Lee, Levi, and Wrangler to Burberry, Bugatchi, Ralph Lauren, and Versace.

The Vintage Label
Carolyn Carrington’s love for vintage started early on – largely because of her mother. She started collecting in her late teens and early 20s shopping her friends’ mothers’ closets, going to auctions and estate sales, and doing closet clean-outs. She launched her store after her sister’s encourgement.
The Vintage Label offers a wide range of price points. The owner Carolyn Carrington wants to offer something for everyone, including numbered, rare, vintage couture pieces, and museum-worthy items. The majority of the collection is from the late 50s through 90s with more current fashions. Some specialities on offer are vintage men’s cashmeres, men’s vintage hats, vintage textiles and unique vintage interior décor items. The store also sells new ready-to-wear and has its own brand of clothing.

Fever Dream Vintage & Modern
The collection at Fever Dream Vintage & Modern run by Veronica Desangles is dictated by the founder’s taste.
“I just buy what I like. What I like is natural fabrics, interesting designs, and pieces that just make me think ’wow what is that’? I don’t believe in subscribing to one certain look. I think when you wake up you dress how you feel and the way you dress is a representation of yourself and you’re not just one thing. I like a lot of different stuff so I’m gonna sell a lot of different stuff.”
Desangles opened her shop in May 2022. Her goal is to make everyone visiting her store to find something cool and feel cool. “I’m trying to make people comfortable dressing a little more femme when they’ve been masc their whole or vice versa. Or someone who’s only been goth their whole life taking a dip into prep. I love when people feel so confident in their looks that they leave my shop beaming.”

Old School Cool Markets
Old School Cool Markets is a series of three markets happening in the Denver area: First Friday Vintage Market at the Bird Lot in RINO, an outdoor event space up the street from the Denver Central Market, happen every first Friday of the month. Last Saturday Vintage Market at Yardbird Table & Bar, also located in RINO, on a beautiful patio space every last Saturday of the month. Stanley Marketplace Vintage Market at the amazing Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, Colorado. These take place 4 times a year. Entrance is free to all of these markets.
The first market happened in February 2018 at a small hair salon in Five Points, Denver. At the time, vintage markets didn’t really exist in Denver, and a group of fellow Etsy sellers and the founder, Lexi Wilson, decided to get together to make one happen. COVID dismantled the team, and since April 2023, Lexi has been running them solo.
Some (regular) local vintage vendors you can find at the markets are Old School Cool Mobile Vintage Shop, a 70s travel trailer turned vintage shop and Home Girl Thrift selling trendy vintage items mostly from the 90s-y2k eras.
