Toronto’s Best Curated Vintage Stores
Toronto-born fashion journalist, producer, and vintage collector lists her top 9 vintage stores for our Toronto shopping guide.
With so much to see and do in Toronto, from music concerts to food festivals, art shows and sporting events, it’s easy to forget that the city has a deep-rooted fashion heritage. Stemming from a once-thriving textile industry known for its high-quality wool and knitwear, its storied history laid the foundation for a fashion culture that values craftsmanship and timeless style.
Today, Toronto’s vibrant energy – a mix of red-brick Victorian architecture, towering skyscrapers, and a rich multicultural vibe – creates an inspiring environment where fashion thrives amongst the city’s dynamic atmosphere, making it a destination for those who appreciate unique style and secondhand shopping.
This article lists altogether nine vintage stores worth visiting in Toronto. You can find even more destinations on our Google Maps list.
Boomie Vintage
Founded in 2018, Boomie Vintage tends to remain one step ahead of the fashion curve. The meticulous collection seamlessly blends eras, creating an energetic and modern closet mirroring the constant metamorphosis of culture and style. “Sometimes, it’s the quality and craftsmanship of a garment that catches our eye. Other times, we draw inspiration from current trends, such as Y2K pieces that are in high demand right now”, says Meria Silva, owner of Boomie Vintage.
Here, garments are celebrated for their substance, not their seasonality. “We love incorporating vintage pieces into contemporary outfits, blending classic elements with modern styling. We don’t necessarily adhere to a full vintage aesthetic, preferring instead to create a balanced and updated look,” says Silva.
Expect to find colorful, fluid silk dresses for any social event, legacy designer bags, kitten heels, and platforms, soft-shouldered summer blazers, and prized home decor – each piece reimagined for the restless and romantic day-dreamer. With prices ranging from $20 to $600, you’re sure to find something.

Chosen Vintage
A wave of modernity and minimalism, Chosen Vintage is more than a vintage store. Here dualities coexist in perfect harmony: The power suit meets the bohemian blouse. The minimalist ceramics share space with maximalist glassware decor. Band tees mix with silk lingerie. It’s a retail experience that transcends trends, offering a curated edit of pieces that resonate with a discerning clientele; women and men.
“Being a true Gemini, I am forever flip flopping on who I am and what to wear, so by default this may have inspired the curation...but we’re in it for the love and the true obsession…” says owner Melissa Ball.
The collection of timeless and confident statement pieces hold evidence of love – selected for their fabric, wearability, condition, and uniqueness. Expect to find 80s and 90s heavy-hitters in their glory.

Penny Arcade
A curator with an eye for workmanship and functional style, Rachel Sheehan’s Penny Arcade knows how women want to move throughout the world: unfussy, unadorned, and equivocally chic. Founded in 2008, Penny Arcade reveals a clarity of thought with seasonal collections that resemble East Coast heritage richness: Think dark blue denims paired with Victorian cotton blouses in all the vanilla-white varieties, soft leather ankle boots, architectural outerwear contrasted with muted shift dresses – the embodiment of effortless dressing that is both inviting and incredibly detailed.
“We stock locally made and women-led gifts including cards, skincare, soaps, bath, self-care products, candles, incense. $60 for a summery top to $500 for a Versus by Versace blazer. We carry antique clothing from the Victorian era to contemporary designer pieces, so 1900s-current”, Sheehan says.
Whether you’re seeking apparel or unique home decor, Penny Arcade’s collection offers a wardrobe foundation and living space that feels both familiar and fresh.

Mama Loves You Vintage
The most dreamiest and fantastic of vintage since its inception in December 2012, Mama Loves You Vintage has cultivated a loyal following of collectors and fashion enthusiasts for over a decade. Curated by a mother-daughter team Melo & Mahro Anfield, this Queen Street West darling is a fashion stylist’s dream of color, shape, and texture. The store’s focus on vibrant dresses and structured silhouettes offers a counterpoint to the often muted tones of the vintage market. Expect to find 1910s–2000s statement pieces, delicate femininity of 60s and 70s frocks, and the rugged masculinity of vintage workwear like chore coats, overalls, and auto mechanic tees.
“We’re a family business and we have staff who have been here for years. Our unofficial mascot is a little lamb, so you can find lambs everywhere on our counter “, says Mahro Anfield. With a price point accessible to all, and a rare, collectible section with the unicorns of vintage, Mama Loves You Vintage democratizes the world of vintage fashion.
