Chantal Thomass signed vintage 1980s cloak-pin

This very striking cloak-pin is by French designer Chantal Thomass and, to me, has a vaguely military look to it. 
It consists of two gilt-metal corded 'tassels' on a chatelaine link chain with two signed clasps. I have tried to show clearly in the images that the 'tassels' are solid or 'fixed' and do not move like real tassels. The cloak-pin is a collectors piece but it can be worn in a variety of ways including across the lapels of a jacket or high on the shoulder.
