Antique 19th Century French Nightgown 1800’s Homespun Nightshirt Antique Flax Nightgown Antique Linen Nightgown French Flax Chemise

This antique, homespun nightgown or nightshirt is made with creamy, nubby, heavy, homespun flax. It has French finished seams, short sleeves & falls to below the knees. The neck has a new white cotton tie that is threaded through to adjust the neck opening. Please note that there is some faint age staining (see photos) & some generalized dinginess. This has some handsewn seams but I believe it is also simply chain stitch machine sewn in places as well. It is very displayable & carefully wearable.
