Outside Ireland and UK: I use Royal Mail for most items. Their AIM for delivery is 5-8 working days from posting (weekends and holidays not included in definition of working day). So something posted on, for example Monday 3 March should be delivered between Monday 10 and Thursday 13 March. This is only a guide, however, and delivery may take longer than this.

Many of the items have insurance and tracking included, the item description will advise if this is the case.

If this is not the case, if you wish, you may purchase tracking for your item. Royal Mail's international tracking service features end-to-end tracking plus:
•built-in compensation, and the option of adding more
•priority handling at home and abroad.
This service is in addition to any postage / shipping cost shown on the item (if applicable). Choose the additional shipping option when purchasing your item.

For larger items I use a courier service. The service requires a contact telephone number for all recipients. Please supply this when ordering to ensure prompt despatch. Shipping time in generally 1-5 days.

Within Ireland and UK: I generally use An Post/ Royal Mail, or for heavier items Parcelforce or a courier service such as myHermes or Collect +. Please contact me if you would like your parcel tracked and I can arrange this for you. There may be a charge for this service.

International Customs: please note that buyers are responsible for all customs charges, import fees, VAT etc. if applicable.

International and / or remote locations: for heavy or bulky items, I reserve the right to cancel your order if shipping costs prove to be prohibitive.

I do not charge for packaging and I prefer to recycle materials in the interests of the environment. If shipping charges apply, I only ever charge shipping at cost and refund any overages.

Please remember that vintage items have had a previous, sometimes long, life. There will inevitably be signs of age and wear. Like antiques, they should be treated with care. Some materials can become brittle with age. They may not withstand modern cleaning methods or chemicals.
