Vintage Mesh Flapper Purse Art Deco Mandalian Mfg Co.

This is a beautiful Art Deco flapper bag, circa 1920's - 1930's. This fabulous enameled mesh bag was made by Mandalian Mfg Co, (eventually purchased by Whiting and Davis Co.)

It has pretty beige foundation, pink and black butterflies, and flowers.From the clasp to the bottom of the fringe measures 6-1/2". The chain handle adds 5". Width at the closure is 3-1/2".

The frame is beautifully detailed with flowers and art deco flourishes. There is a pretty chain handle and shimmering chain fringe on the bottom. There are six pieces of the dainty bottom fringe that are missing. These could be replaced by a jeweler.

This purse is in good vintage condition, as found. (See photos)

It is marked "MANDALIAN MFG CO" on the inside of the frame under the clasp.
