Re-Invented: These are custom, one of a kind pieces that have been restored, repurposed, re-envisioned or reimagined into a new piece by using other vintage items and findings. Many times, these pieces merge different decades together and are just fun special garments.

Regardless if you choose a vintage garment from dead stock, used or reinvented, there will most likely be some sign of age to the garment. A brand new dress will show some age after 50 years even if its just sitting on a hanger. From a stray thread, a loose button, slight fading, or the occasional fraying or spot; Vintage clothes are well, vintage. We do our very best to document and photograph any imperfections we find and encourage customers to take the time to read the full descriptions of items listed on our shop.

The sunglasses are attractive and fun. I look forward to wearing them. I like that the sellers act as historians and pass along any information that they have about the item's history. Love that! I requested that the glasses be sent after a certain date , and the seller agreed. But then, the item didn't arrive after 3 weeks. Seller tracked it down. The included paperwork had what seems like a smoky smell. It was strong.

Holly, we are so happy that you finally received your item. it’s true that there was a group of packages that got derailed in the USps system & they were able to track them down and correct the issue. please know we’ve no co trol over a package once we mail it out :) I’m not sure what you are smelling as no one here at our shop smokes and we don’t have a fireplace. we do use recycled materials and eco friendly printer powders that are heated into the paper when they print so maybe that?? not sure, we’ve not heard that before but wanted to assure u it’s not from anything nefarious. ;)

This beautiful dress is classy and elegant, a timeless style that is just as versatile and perfect for today as it was in the 90's. I'm wearing it at work today and it makes me feel so special! Really lovely vintage dress in fantastic condition, the dress was shipped in secure, pretty packaging. Exactly as described and with very above-and-beyond inclusions of goodies (a soft scrunchie, era-appropriate costume earrings and brooch, and a great color of Laura Geller lipstick) and a thoughtful note and insert with historical background generally and specifically of the piece. I'm beyond impressed with the attention to detail and care this item received to come to its new home with me. As someone w/ a figure that does well in vintage styles, I'm delighted to have found a source of thoughtfully curated vintage pieces. Favoriting the shop for my future vintage shopping. Thank you!
