A beautiful, Dior-inspired, vintage 1950s Kay Selig party dress. This dreamy vintage dress, fashioned of green velvet, features a fitted bodice, square neckline, scooped back, short sleeves, nipped waist, and a bell-shaped skirt with layered gathers. The skirt is backed with a stiff interlining that gives it its bell shape, especially when worn with an additional crinoline, as pictured here. There is also piping around the waist and a petite bow at the back. The dress closes via a center metal zipper and hook-and-eye closure. The bow fastens into place via a snap. It is very well-made and beautiful to look at!

Bust (at underarm): 36 inches
Waist: 27 inches
Length (top of shoulder to hem): 44 inches
Skirt length: 26.5 inches

Condition

The dress is in very good/very wearable condition. However, there are two things to note: fading at the tops of the shoulders, as pictured; and a small bit of fraying (about .5 inches in length) to the back bow and at the hem (about .25 inches). Please convo me for additional pics. The dress has been dry cleaned and will arrive ready to wear!
