Artisan, Native American, and hand-crafted jewelry incorporate silver ranging in purity from coin silver (90.0%) to sterling silver (92.5%) to fine (99.5%). Most vintage Native American and artisan jewelry pieces do not include silver purity marks. Sterling silver purity is determined by magnetic and/or acid test.

Virtually all soft stones used in jewelry (i.e. turquoise, opal, coral, onyx) are stabilized for durability and/or color. This does not affect their "genuine" or "authentic" quality.

American turquoise was heavily minded in the 20th Century. Most American turquoise mines closed in the 1980s and 1990s, thus genuine American turquoise is rare in pieces made after the late 1970s.

Vintage apparel sizing differs from contemporary sizing, so please refer to listed measurements to determine fit. Vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories are available only in the size/measurements listed.
