Most of the shop’s listings are in excellent vintage condition.

It is store policy not to sell any items with chips or cracks.

Any noticeable “flaw” is pointed out and in any event, a full complement of photos provided. Photos are part of the listing description and can be blown up.

Some of the older pieces of china may have “age spots” under the glaze, which is normal and happens when iron in the pottery rises. The occasional manufacturing or other defect is also possible, such as imperfect or smeared glaze or gilding, light scratches from use, small patches of crazing, trapped ash bits or “flea bites” on the odd item.

Gift wrapping 🎁 is available for 5$. Just add a note on your order (e.g. birthday).

All items are packaged for safety in transport, with suitable wrappings, duck paper, bubble wrap and box size used. The goal is to make sure the lovely items you select get to you in one piece!🛍

Seller is not responsible for very unlikely event of a customs officer opening box, inspecting and then not repackaging items carefully and with all packaging.📦 This hasn’t happened at this store yet, but it is possible.

No dishwasher ⛔️ for vintage china please, especially not gilded items.

Best to rinse 🚰 when done to avoid staining and to hand wash with gentle sponge.🧼

For higher end china, it is best that it is never used of course. Keep it as an objet d’art or cabinet item to admire and enjoy.🌹🌸 🥰

Returns generally not accepted. Available for inadvertent listing misdescription only (e.g. a missed crack).

Any issue which was in listing or which is common to vintage items does not constitute a valid return reason. Colour or shade, manufacturing defect or size is not a valid reason to return any item.

Must request return within 7 days of delivery, with photos if applicable.

Sale items are final sale.

Seller may or may not require item to be returned. Return postage is generally at customer's cost and item must be in same condition as when sent to be eligible for refund.

Cancellations 🔄 available within 2 hours of ordering, except during sales.

Losses During Shipping - All countries:

No carrier provides insurance against breakage (of fragile goods), only for lost shipments.

Seller will NOT be held responsible for unlikely event of any delay, loss or breakage during shipping.

If Tracking not selected at time of order, it cannot be added later.

Double check the address you have provided for errors or omissions

It should usually - but may not 100% of the time.

Whether there is a "ping" will depend on factors such as: thickness of glazing, type of decoration or overlays, composition, embossment, cup thickness, age, etc.

Some people use the “ping” test to see if there is a crack or crazing. This is not as useful nor as accurate as just using your eyes/loupe.

Some teacups do not have a ping and have neither cracks nor crazing.

Although most of the shop’s teacups will "ping", this shop does not 100% guarantee “ping”.

If having a “ping” is specifically important to you, send a message to request that the item you are interested in be given the “ping” test.

Sellers take their reviews seriously because buyers often decide whether to shop at a store based on them. Higher rated stores feature more prominently in search results.

Customers usually base their ratings on several factors:

- how the item received matches that of the description ✍️ 📸

- how the item was packaged and shipped , 🎁 🛩 and

- general customer service, as applicable.👏

Buyers should never assume qualities NOT in the listing, e.g., both pieces are signed, item is in perfect condition, a specific colour, item must have “high ping”.

The seller is only representing qualities in their listing, not what someone may or may not assume.

Seller reserves the right to ban from the store anyone who leaves a negative review.

If you buy from here, you are subject to the same rules as everyone else, no exceptions. This is not about “customer service” these are about the conditions of sale. If you don’t cancel within 2 hours, if the item was on sale, if you misread something, if you changed your mind, etc.—the sale will still be final.

Refunds are given on occasion but ONLY for a significant misdescription, e.g. seller misses a hairline crack. Many shops offer no refunds at all, but this is a more balanced approach.
