Rare necklace with 3 rows of pearls & tubes, in iridescent glass paste, pale yellow, with a star as central motif, signed Miriam Haskell and dated around 1950's.
Miriam Haskell used various materials such as round pearls in golden mother-of-pearl, with glass beads of mixed yellow and white color, baroque shape, then tubes in glass paste.
The star or sun in the center of the necklace consists of tubes and a half-sphere of glass paste, at its heart.
There are pointed patterns of finely engraved and interspersed gilded metal.
In order to enhance its radiant and luminous effect, yellow rhinestones (2 sizes) are arranged around the heart and at each start gilded metal patterns.

The clasp of the necklace is a hook decorated with a small flower and bears on the back the signature engraved Miriam Haskell.
