Description:
Positively fetching mid century rhinestone Demi-parure necklace and bracelet set by ARNOLD SCAASI - see NOTE below about this famous mid century designer whose customers included many First Ladies and Mary Tyler Moore.
This vintage mid century set features a necklace and bracelet. The necklace has a series of round ball shaped beads in graduated sizes that are studded with small rhinestones and raised metal faceted stones in between the rhinestones. The necklace has 21 of the orbs. Eleven of the 21 have a line at the center. The bracelet has 8 of these orbs.
At the end of the necklace there are 10 solid smaller sized gold rough surfaced beads that compliment the funky shape of the main beads that are found (as described above) on the front of the necklace and all around the bracelet.
All parts on this set have a gold tone metal including the chains and extenders.
On the necklace, the beads range in size from being about 1" in diameter to about 12 mm size at the ends. On the bracelet, all the beads are a uniform approx. 7/8" diameter in size.
Both the necklace and the bracelet have extenders - the necklace's is 3" long and on the bracelet it is 1 1/2" long. They both have lobster clasps that work well.
