Vintage from the 1980s

Materials: faux fur, fabric, plastic hanger

Faux fur black shawl wrap black

Found at the estate of the original owner. Her name was Mae. Faux fur, black. There is no tag or size indication inside the shawl, but the lady seemed to wear an XL size clothing. Guessing 1980s.

This is the type of shawl/wrap that wraps around the shoulders with a tail in the front and can be wrapped somewhat at the neck as well. The measurements are as follows"

The back: There is a seam down the middle of the back. From the top of the solar down the back tot he bottom measures 20 inches long.

The front: There are no type of closures. From the top of the front measuring from the shoulder to the bottom measures 27 inches. The shoulders have a seam as to create the illusion of sleeves but has o sleeve. It is designed to look like a mink stole.

Faux sleeves: Measuring on the seam from the top to the end measures 21 inches. From shoulder to shoulder measures 20 inches across.

The back of the neck collar measures 6 1/2 inches wide measured from seam to seam.

The condition is overall good. I do not see any stains or rips. The inside lining is most likely a rayon material. It is silky but it is not silk. There was sewing done on the inside lining on one side that looks like she folded some of the lining and gave it a few stitches to tuck it in. This stitching has been removed.

The hanger is included. The lady had it hanging on a hanger with some foam on the ends to keep it from slipping off.

This coat/shawl/wrap has not been cleaned by me in any way. I wouldn't even know where to start.
