Original old orange silk lining interior.

No flaws except for the little brass front hasp is gone.... it would be an easy brass escutcheon find to simply attach with pins. Also, the orange silk lining has split on the lid and the bottom lining is gone, as the photo's show from age and use....

Oak wood with beautiful original patina. Tiny square nails evident on oak bottom.

Thanks for the great clock!. If possible, it is even better than the pictures. Shipping an antique clock can be tricky, but this was packaged with great care and arrived in perfect order. All that was necessary was to hang the pendulum and it just started right up. Thrilled to have the clock and looking forward to many years of enjoyment.
