1970's praire / victoriana style dress, it is such a gorgeous dress and the velvet is lovely.
Please note this dress is going to need a bit of work before it's in the perfect condition it should be. Unfortunately my sewing machine is in storage so I am unable to pull it out to work on it. The mid sleeve detailing needs reattaching. Also the sheer detailing I believe used to be devore so maybe that needs rethinking / reworking. Once it has been freshened up it'll be worth a lot more, if you're will to part with it that is. If this doesn't sell before I can get my machine out then I will remove the listing, fix the dress up and then resist but this will of course increase the price.
What we love about vintage is that it has already been around for quite sometime but if you take care of it you can pass it down to the next generation.
We must remind you that all items are vintage and have been around for quite some years. Unless otherwise stated please expect some wear and tear.
When it comes to listing a size we have put these as a guesstimate, as you can imagine sizing now is very different to vintage items. Also sizing varies all over the high street, which is why we list our items with measurements.
ALL garments sold are sent with 360 ID tagging, this is a strip of tape that is sealed with a tamperproof sticker, meaning that if the looped tagging has been removed from the item we will not accept the return. We have implemented this as we want to give everyone the opportunity to buy an item and try it on to ensure it fits right and if not can return it but we have been burnt before where people have worn and returned or have done "wardrobing" where influencers / bloggers use the items for their content and then returned it after. Please note the buyer is liable for the cost of the return and any refund received will be minus the initial postage paid plus any fee's for this listing and re listing; please note we will refund in full if the incorrect items were sent or items arrived differently to the listing description. To save time in returns and costs we would advise checking the measurements listed on the items for sale is checked first and we are more than happy to answer any questions. All items purchased via the UK are sent via 2nd class recorded or (if larger items) Parcel Force 48 hour. International postage is sent via tracked and signed when requested. We have sourced biodegradable postage bags, use acid free tissue paper to wrap the items and the stickers used are recycled with an antimicrobial coating for your safety. These eco and safety purchases are factored into the postage costs.
We have decided to help reduce our carbon footprint (we currently plants trees via Treedom to offset it) we are now only posting out twice a week, therefore all orders received Thursday-Sunday will be posted out Tuesday and all orders received Monday-Wednesday will be posted out Thursday; if it is an urgent order please message before buying and we will try and accommodate.
