I think that every movie I ever saw from the 30's had some femme fatale wearing a dress very similar to this. Vavoom!

It is from the 30's and is a grecian empire style, with an elaborate gathering of the black chiffon silk to highlight your assets and then drops to a band of gathering that is framed with a row of real rhinestones. Then it falls graciously to the floor.
The back is low cut. Unfortunately my size 6 form was too big to zip it fully. But you get the idea. Normally it would zip to the top line of rhinestones.

This is a dress to go dancing in. The silk chiffon flows when you move. It is lined with a silk crepe: beautiful construction. It is union made in the USA.

I estimate it to be a size 4 or size two,and it is in excellent condition.
