Cute and comfy - this cotton day dress is a sweet piece of vintage. Lovely blue print is adorned with lavendar buttons on the collar area and on the top of each sleeve. There are no visible tags in this simple shift dress, and it does appear to be one of a kind - hand made. While it appears to have been loved and worn, there are many excellent years left in this piece. No visible flaws at all - no holes, tears, snags or stains. No fading in the underarms... this one is pretty much perfect.

Claim this handmade beauty for your own wardrobe. It's a fundamental summer vintage garment - wash and wear. Appears to be all cotton. The back closure is a long metal zipper. Hems are hand stitched and every attention was given to detail on this dress, except... one minor detail. On each sleeve, there is a "flap" with a button. One side is stitched all the way down and the other is not. It's a mystery to me.

Fun in the sun, or a day in the office... this shift dress could double up and serve as a go-to for many occasions.
