Gant Rugger

Gant Rugger was founded by Ukrainian immigrant Bernard Gant in New Haven, Connecticut in 1949. Before this Gant worked in New York's garment district making shirts and learning the tricks of the trade. Gant Rugger combined American sportswear, New England lifestyle, and European design influences. Today Gant Rugger is one of the most iconic preppy style labels, drawing upon the brand’s Ivy League heritage.
