Vuokko

Vuokko Nurmesniemi launched her eponymous clothing line in 1964 after first working as the first textile and clothes designer of Marimekko. Nurmesniemi’s most famous design is the striped Jokapoika shirt which has been in production continuously since 1956. Vuokko is known for her striking, bold, and graphic prints and sculptural yet simple cuts.
