Paganne

Self-taught Gene Berk designed first sportswear for Oleg Cassini and in the late 1960s started his own company, Paganne Ltd. In the same way as Zandra Rhodes, he designed prints first and let them lead the design process of the garment. Paganne is famous for his abstract and trompe l’oeil prints which often refer historical time periods from Art Deco to Ancient Greek. His 60s and 70s gowns are highly coveted.
