The American mid-priced women’s clothing label Gay Gibson was launched in the 30s and continued until the early 70s. There was also a separate Gay Gibson juniors/teens line. The label should not be mixed with the actress Gay Gibson – the clothing line was not named after any natural person.

Gay Gibson collections included both casual daywear, evening gowns, jackets, and formal skirt suits. Some of the 50s Gay Gibson dresses feature cute details like bows, peplums, and belts. From the 60s and 70s, you can find simple mod and sheet dresses and youthful stripe and plaid prints.
