Fiorucci

Fiorucci is an iconic Italian fashion brand founded in 1967 and re-launched in 2017. They are most famous for their angels logo. They have also been credited as the innovator of stretch jeans in 1982. Their first store in Milan was a concept store with a restaurant and a vintage department. Fiorucci imported and popularized global garments like Brazilian thongs and Afghan coats.

In 1976 Fiorucci opened their New York store, which quickly became the hot spot of the NYC fashion scene. Cher, Betsey Johnson, and Marc Jacobs were some of the regulars. Despite the huge success and rapid expansion, Fiorucci went into administration in 1989.
