Coach

Coach was founded in 1941 by Lillian and Miles Cahn. Men’s leather wallets were their first products. In the early 60s, Coach started to make women’s leather handbags after Lillian’s suggestion. The company’s trajectory changed when Bonnie Cashin joined the company and became its head designer later in 1962. When former Loewe Creative Director Stuart Vevers joined the brand in 2013, replacing Reed Krakoff, the company’s shifted more into clothes, not only leather goods.
